I have heard rumors about Fortis. What is going on with Fortis, MerchantE and the NetSuite Channel?
Fortis acquired the MerchantE NetSuite channel and associated technologies. In addition, the majority of the NetSuite team has joined Fortis, which has committed to invest significantly in the business. Fortis is hard at work improving technology and enhancing the SuitePayments solution and a formal press release will be forthcoming.
Who is Fortis and why did Fortis invest in MerchantE's NetSuite channel?
Fortis is one of the largest payments technology providers in North America and one of the only focused specifically on embedded payment solutions. We work with independent software vendors (ISV) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software including Sage, Acumatica, Microsoft and now NetSuite. We believe there is a massive opportunity to create amazing experiences in these channels.

What Changes Can I Expect?

Nothing changes for right now. Transactions and settlements will be processed just as they are today.  

Current MerchantE customers and partners will receive emails 30-days and 15-days prior to processing on the Fortis platform – these will include contact info, login info and other important resources.
 

You will also receive instructions on how to install the core bundle, the same way you did when you first signed up with MerchantE.
 

We expect no interruptions in service.
